Anyone have any ideas? I emerge/updated world a couple of weeks ago. xmms 1.2.10 no longer handled pls streaming. It wouldn't even respond to the old hack of downloading the .pls file and opening it on your drive with xxms. The correspondence on http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85165 has the following fix, which worked for me... Step 1) emerge xmms-mpg123 Step 2) - open up xmms and go through the following menu hierarchy - Options = Preferences = Audio I/O plugins - select the MAD MPEG decoder plugin - uncheck the enabled button on the far right, half-way down the menu dialog - click on OK -- Walter Dnes [EMAIL PROTECTED] An infinite number of monkeys pounding away on keyboards will eventually produce a report showing that Windows is more secure, and has a lower TCO, than linux. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
