Check the install instructions about setting up the 
net.eth0 file.  You need to set up the file with your 
addresses and add it to the default runlevel.

If you are using modules .. modprobe natsemi 

else compile it into the kernel and reboot

edit /etc/conf.d/net .. change the settings to reflect your setup

execute:
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 start 

if all goes well .. add net.eth0 to the default runlevel : 
execute:

rc-update add net.eth0 default

any other questions .. consult the docs .. this card works fine , I've
got an HP laptop with the same built-in card
