[Gmail-Users] restore mail and contacts to tablet

2017-03-29 Thread billhansen
I accidentally tapped an icon on my new ASUS tablet and "disabled" the
Gmail Contacts icon. Now neither the Contacts nor Gmail itself can be seen
in my Apps, and their icons have disappeared from the home screen of my
tablet. Does anyone have an idea of how to restore these to the tablet?
Going to Settings/Accounts on the tablet has not worked.

I assume you mean translate.google.com. This uses Javascript
technology in the browser to translate as you type. Perhaps your web
browser is broken or an extension is interfering. Have you tried
closing it completely before trying again? Tried a different browser?
Reboot?
What happens when you press the 'Translate' button?
What other troubleshooting have you tried?

[Gmail-Users] google hacked?

2017-03-29 Thread Christine Skarbek
i know you all take care of all questions on gmail but i am a translator
and use google.translate.com a lot all of a sudden, when you put
something in the left hand side, nothing shows up on the language you
want/need it translated into. do any of you know if some hacker threw a
wrench into google.translate.com and how do i reach them to let them know
this has happened in the last couple of hours?
