Translate Gnome 3.4 for Ubuntu 12.04
Hello All, my team plan to start translating Gnome 3.4 for the release of Ubuntu 12.04 in to Khmer (the official language of Cambodia). I have looked at: http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/km/gnome-3-4/ui/ and saw that there is not translations for my language, So Can I download all files from that and doing the translations and then uploading the completed translations, Is that possible? Thanks for your comments! Regards, Sokhem ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

You are marked as the team coordinator on http://l10n.gnome.org/teams/km/ so yes, you can go ahead. :) In case that you do not have git commit access, please ping on this mailing list after some translations have been uploaded to l10n.gnome.org by posting links to the files. You will need git access and commit the files into corresponding repositories. Re: Translating Glom example files
You can add an info about this to the Glom page in Damned Lies and all Glom translators will see it. And what about an updates? You will announce changes manually to i18n mailing list? The Czech translation is done and commited. String additions to 'metacity.master'
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on: http://l10n.gnome.org. There have been following string additions to module 'metacity.master': + "Des_ktop" + "Open another one of these windows" + "This is a demo button with a 'quit' icon" + "This is a demo button with an 'open' icon" + "_All docks" + "_Bottom dock" + "_Dialog" + "_Left dock" + "_Modal dialog" + "_Right dock" + "_Splashscreen" + "_Top dock" + "_Utility" + "_Windows" Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it might be worth investigating. ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

I just added some text for you: «glom is a user-friendly database application. Apart from the UI messages and the documentation, there are additional example files that can be translated. Currently, these are translated separately and are not shown on this page. See https://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/TranslationsOutsideStatus";>the glom section at TranslationsOutsideStatus for instructions on how to translate them.» Tell me if it needs any changes.
