[DL]String additions to 'gnome-settings-daemon.master'

2020-09-03 Thread GNOME Status Pages
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on:
https://l10n.gnome.org.

There have been following string additions to module
'gnome-settings-daemon.master':

+ "Either one of your existing devices has been reconnected or a new one has
been plugged in. If you did not do it, check your system for any suspicious
device."
+ "New device detected"

Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it
might be worth investigating.

No, I can't :-)

I suggest you report a bug and point to the faulty commit.

So this request, at this moment, has only 1/2 from i18n

Re: gnome-settings-daemon | usb-protection: Relax the whitelist to all HIDs and HUBs (!192)

2020-09-03 Thread Tobias Mueller
Dear translations team,

we're seeking for a string freeze exception for in gnome-settings-
daemon.
Details can be found here:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-settings-daemon/-/merge_requests/192/diffs#b2656164d97e5e60c50fd14cf5c149c5a8e30904_591_589

and the affected two strings are:

"New keyboard detected" which ought to be "New device detected"

And:
"Either your keyboard has been reconnected or a new one has been plugged in. "

which will become:
"Either one of your existing devices has been reconnected or a new one has been
plugged in. "

The patch will be merged if or rather when the exception is granted.

In fairness, it is not absolutely necessary to push it to 3.38, but it would be
nice as it will most likely lessen the number of frustrated users asking for
help ;-)

Thanks,
  Tobi

Most likely you were not given push permission on this repository, which is
normal if this is your first contribution there.
Instead you must create a merge request at:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp-help/-/merge_requests

To do this, first "fork" the repository into your personal user space (it's
not a real fork, they use the same word to just mean you make a personal
public clone of the main repository), push to your public remote, then you
can do the merge request from this remote.

If some of the steps I (very briefly) described here are blurry, I'm sure
there are a few tutorials about contributing on Gitlab on the web.
Otherwise do not hesitate to come on IRC too (#gimp on irc.gimp.org).

In any case, tell us if there are any more problems and we will help.

please help me for uploading user manual for GIMP in Marathi language

2020-09-03 Thread Snehalata Shirude via gnome-i18n
Hi,

I am from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, India.
I am working on localization of GIMP software and its user manual.
The work regarding GIMP software is completed and Marathi has been added in
last year.
Now I wish to commit or push all translated user manual files for gimp.
I referred to https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/da/apcs02s05.html
And done steps

make validate-mr
git status

Status is saying po/mr is ready.
but when i try to push using git push it is giving error.

remote: HTTP Basic: Access denied
fatal: Authentication failed for '
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp-help.git/'

I am using my gnome account.

Please help me how i can push and upload marathi files for GIMP user manual.

Thanks
