Good morning.

I would like to say that I had commited all the files for the Friulian
language as Mr. Fabio requested.

The commit log had been published at every catalog's page in Damned Lies.

Regards,
Have a happy New Year,

Re: Nautilus folder names

2013-02-13 Thread Liverig
Take a look at http://l10n.gnome.org/module/, specifically in nautilus
module.

The words that you referenced can be found in Nautilus .po file in Master
branch, but possibly it can be referenciated in other "nautilus-" modules.

Contact your language coordinator, if possible, to help you in your
translation effort.

Best regards, Enrico.

Question about searching applications based on keywords

2014-06-03 Thread Liverig
Hello fellows,

When translating keywords (those there are delimited by semi-colons, sorry
if it isn´t the right term) in the gnome-system-monitor´s po file, I
observed that some words are in the singular form.

When the user is seeking for an application using the Activities Overview,
the application is showed if the user search for terms in plural?

For example, the user searches for 'tasks' instead of 'task'... the
gnome-system-monitor will appear?

Thanks a lot,
Enrico Nicoletto.

Re: Do we need to repeat key search terms in translation

2014-08-05 Thread Liverig
Hello folks!

And what about plural forms, please?

It is needed to add "card" and "cards" to increase the search terms when
plural forms are applicable in a translation context?

Or the search will only show the exactly keyword´s content, despising the
plural form?

Regards, Enrico.

Support to video creation destinated to attract new colaborators in translation team

2015-05-22 Thread Liverig
Greetings to all,

Since last year I and Rafael Ferreira were thinking about the creation of
videos to teach and attract newcomers to the Brazilian Portuguese
Translation team.

The main idea is to teach how to register in Damned Lies, starting
translating, using Po editors softwares, the norms used in Brazilian
Portuguese team, how to review the translation and submitting it to Damned
Lies.

I would like to know if GNOME could support us in someway and we are
willing to receive ideas.

Thanks,
Enrico Nicoletto.

Thanks Daniel !

Firstly I intend to work on the creation of the transcription/scripts, then
find a good way to record video with audio synchronized. In my opinion the
Gnome shell recording feature is amazing, but it only records video without
audio.
