gnome-web-photo now has a new, active maintainer, so I think you can put
it back on the list of 'alive' modules :)

Thanks Christian for letting us informed about it.

I'm the Romanian team leader and I was logged in on Damned Lies.

Before sending an email here, Daniel asked me about this problem.

It happened like he said: we got a .pot instead of a .po.
After he sent the email, we got a .po as expected.

I remember seeing this bug at the beginning of the GCI.

You're right. gnome-web-photo is currently dead, so there's no need to
continue translating it.

It also works for me, even I'm not a member of the Romanian team.
Normally, if there's no translation for your language yet, Vertimus
creates a fake *.po file from the current *.pot. This should work always
if you are logged in to your account. If not, you get a *.pot file
because Vertimus doesn't know in this case for which team member the
*.po file should be created. See the line with your name and mail
address in the file header.

Mario

The issue was that when I clicked the button „download” (like in this
image:
http://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject/ContributeTranslations?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=l10n-reserve.png)
I got a pot file instead a .po one like it should
Now it seems to work...
so nevermind ... sorry for disturbing..

It seems to me there is no existing .ro translation yet, so this
behaviour seems correct to me. You should just start with the POT file.

Apart from that, gnome-web-photo seems a dead module, so I don't think
it makes sense to translate it. The last release has been over a year
now and except from some translation updates, the module has not had any
attention since then:

What is your exact request?
That for a non-existing po file (translation) there should be an
automatic redirect to the pot file?

No link for .po file in gnome-web-photo master

2010-12-27 Thread Daniel Șerbănescu
Hi, when I try to dowload the .po file from :
http://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/gnome-web-photo/master/po/ro ... I get
the .POT file ...
And when I try the pattern like:
http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/gnome-web-photo.master/gnome-web-photo.master.sv.po
if I replace „sv.po” with „ro.po” at the end it says not found...

Could someone please fix that.
Thanks
