My next cvs problem (sorry): there was no Vietnamese translation for this file, so I copied one of the existing translations, changed its filename, and edited the fields. cvs did not like this. I've sent the translation directly to the maintainer, since my cvs problems look like being long-term, but I would like to know how to do this. There are many files which have not previously been translated into Vietnamese, so I need to know how to do the first one. Sorry to keep dumping all these problems on you: I'm starting to think it would be quicker, and waste less time for me, if I printed the translations out and sent them by snailmail... from Clytie (vi-VN, team/nhm Gnome-vi) Clytie Siddall--Renmark, in the Riverland of South Australia thnh ph Renmark, ti min sng ca Nam c ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

When there is no translation for the particular program, I usually take the pot file from the http://l10n-status.gnome.org Also there is usually no need to merge translations by hand (and download the sources, and generate the pot file).
