Translating udisks
Hey, The Disks application (pre-3.4 is was called Palimpsest / Disk Utility) and parts of GVfs relies on a some translated strings from the udisks project. Since udisks is hosted on freedesktop.org (which lacks the good i18n infrastructure of GNOME), I've been using Transifex, see https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/udisks/ However since I added it in January, no translations has been added ... in stark contrast to GNOME i18n where translations are added all the time... I was wondering if there is a way I can get udisks translated using GNOME infrastructure? Thanks, David ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

No, but a good step to get more translations on Transifex would be to reuse freedesktop teams. You can do this in the Manage tab on Transifex, and choose "Outsourced project", then "freedesktop.org". I think you should add udisks to this list: http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/lv/freedesktop-org/ui/ Btw. how often is this list updated? Yup, I think this action, together with a message to the FDO teams (either through the Transifex discussion pages, blog, mailing list) will have a big effect. -d -- Dimitris Glezos Social Localization Crowdsourcing http://www.transifex.com/ -- http://angel.co/transifex ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

If you mean the statistics, twice a day. Now don't forget we get the statistics from git master of the module, not from Transifex.
