how to get aex quotes

2017-11-15 Thread liberace
I got alphavantage quotes working but some are missing.

I tried to fetch the missing quotes by AEX, but I dont get the AEX quotes
working (RDSA.AS) I have chosen: type of quote source "single Amsterdam
Euronext Exchange,NL".

When i use the terminal i get this:
gnc-fq-dump -v aex rdsa.as
Calling POSIX::tmpnam() is deprecated at
/usr/local/share/perl/5.22.1/Finance/Quote/AEX.pm line 90.
No results found for stock rdsa.as

How to resolve this?

Re: Update stock quotes not working

2017-11-15 Thread Maf. King
Hi Peter,

Earlier this month, Yahoo switched off their price info API. This has caused
problems for many users. Try yahoo_json or alphavantage as your quote
sources. (you need a key from alphavantage - see the Gnucash FAQ for more
info about this - https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ#Q:_Why_doesn.

Re: Continued Discover Card woes

2017-11-15 Thread David G Hamblen
There was a thread back this spring discussing the fact that Discover
OFX stopped working.  I tried for a while to get it working again and
gave up.

Hello:

I've been continuing to try to get Discover Card working again with
OFX and so far have been unsuccessful.  I'm getting a 403 (forbidden)
error when trying to download transactions.  I've been combing various
OFX forums that mention Discover has changed their side a couple of
times and I've tried various Special Settings in the AQBanking setup
with no luck.  A couple of recent posts from May 2017 state that
Discover has gone to an account number format of :
"Discovr##x##xx", however I'm unable to find out what this
account number is anywhere on their site.  So, I have tried to do a
Retrieve Account List under the AQBanking setup, and I get nothing.
The output is:

18:39:04 Sending request...
18:39:04 TLS: SSL-Cipher priority list: SECURE256:SECURE128
18:39:04 TLS: SSL-Ciphers negotiated: TLS1.2:ECDHE-RSA-AES-256-GCM:AEAD
18:39:04 Waiting for response...
18:39:05 Operation finished, you can now close this window.

But it seems no accounts are found or retrieved.

Just curious if anybody has been able to get any Discover accounts
working with AQBanking and if so, how?

Thanks for the help.

Update stock quotes not working

2017-11-15 Thread Peter Gröbner
   Hello,

Iam new to Gnucash and got some trouble updating my stock quotes. First
   some informations:
   - OS: Ubuntu 16.04.03 LTS (Xenial Xerus)
   - Gnucash 2.6.12

I have tried a lot of things so far but I never get back any values
when trying to get the current stock prices. What Ive done so far:

1.) Checked my Finance::Quote installation by using gnc-fq-update (see
   email attachement)
2.) Checked all available quote sources by using gnc-fq-check (see
   email attachement)
3.) Tried a lot of different sources and some different stocks (but
mainly Amazon, like descirbed in the online help). With some quote
sources i receive "No results found for stock xy" and with other I get
"This stock quote cannot be used by gnucash!!" (see email attachement).
Here are some examples of what I did:
- gnc-fq-dump yahoo AMZN
- gnc-fq-dump yahoo_europe AMZN
- gnc-fq-dump unionfunds AMZN<-- German quote source
- gnc-fq-dump unionfunds AMZ.F<-- Traded in Frankfurt
- gnc-fq-dump unionfunds 906866 <-- Type: German WKN
And all this with a lot more sources and types

Can anyone tell me what Iam doing wrong? I have read a lot of forum
discussions but I could not fix the problem.
   Thanks in advance!

   Greetings
