Re: [GNC] How to export reports to spreadsheet format(s)?
Hi, Michael, Some others responded also, so now I have successfully exported to HTML and opened the files in a spreadsheet. I didn't know that was possible. Now I do. All's well, and I'm thankful for your help! OK, sounds like it's doable. Will try. Thank you. Modern versions of spreadsheet apps are pretty good at recognizing HTML tables. Those two options also use your default styling of the spreadsheet whereas #1 will preserve the styles of the original report from GnuCash. Most spreadheet programs can read the HTML saved by GC. I know for a fact that LibreOffice is quite happy with it. Or, you can select all the text in a report and copy/paste into a blank spreadsheet.
