Re: [Goanet]Re: BBC propaganda - II
JC, You still don't seem to have the foggiest idea what the content of this thread is about, which leads to your gratuitous comments on the periphery that have no relevence to the primary issues. At least Eddie stoutly defends his opinions with specifics and logic that are relevent, with only a couple of bilious comments to show his displeasure at his beloved BBC being challenged and maligned. What does the sub-continent "taking over" the UK, even if true, which it isn't, have anything to do with the popular epithets used by the British natives against the immigrants from the sub-continent? To see evidence of the BBC's left wing propaganda, you don't have to go any farther than the beginning of this thread, the 2 programs that Eddie recommended and my observations that one had a false premise and the other was inflammatory and gratuitous. Please feel free to get someone at the BBC to review my view since you can "definitely" get them to do so. I look forward to the BBC's explanation of why their commentator thinks that secularism has been defeated in India, and why it is important to reprise the Godhra atrocities at this time, especially with an inflammatory Nazi-era title like the "Final Solution". Their answers may give us clues as to their motives. --- jose colaco <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Dear Mario Gouveia, > > How delightful to hear from you - once again. > > > > You (Mario) have made 4 points in your recent posts > which interest me. > > 1. < Maybe you (JC) are as gullible as Eddie is> > > 2. <"Wogs" or "Pakis" or whatever they are calling > you these days > > > 3. < You (JC) haven't made a single cogent comment > about the specifics of > the content and MOTIVES of the BBC > > > 4. < Beeb (THE BBC) is now a subtle proponent of > mostly left-wing propaganda > > > > > > > JC response-> > > > It is quite possible that JC is just as gullible as > Eddie is; but NOT as > brainwashed as Mario is. Dear Mario Gouveia, How delightful to hear from you - once again. You (Mario) have made 4 points in your recent posts which interest me. 1. < Maybe you (JC) are as gullible as Eddie is> 2. <"Wogs" or "Pakis" or whatever they are calling you these days > 3. < You (JC) haven't made a single cogent comment about the specifics of the content and MOTIVES of the BBC > 4. < Beeb (THE BBC) is now a subtle proponent of mostly left-wing propaganda > JC response-> It is quite possible that JC is just as gullible as Eddie is; but NOT as brainwashed as Mario is. It is possible, right? Why you would refer to "ancient history" and resurrect "Wogs" or "Pakis" in 2005 beats me. If you ask me, the Subcontinent has just taken over the UK. So much so that many in Britain believe that Curry is a plant which grows in a BALL-TEA in Southall and Birmingham, with Bradford and Leicester coming very close thereafter. I do apologize for my inability to make ANY comment about SOMEBODY ELSE'S motives - the BBC's or yours. If one looks at the meaning of the word MOTIVE, one might realise that it is kind of difficult to do so. But then, you might be good at that stuff. Righties (like the BJP and their amigos) are normally good at "making up" motives and attaching them to others. Having said that, I invite you to provide evidence to support your assertion that THE BBC is now a subtle proponent of MOSTLY left-wing propaganda. Please do so - it would be nice to get a reaction or two from the BBC. I believe that I can definitely get hold of someone who might wish to review your view. So...there you are. good wishes as always jc _ Dont just search. Find. Check out the new MSN Search! http://search.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200636ave/direct/01/

You haven't made a single cogent comment about the specifics of the content and motives of the BBC in airing the 2 programs that Eddie recommended, one with a false premise that secularism is dead in India and the other a gratuitous and inflammatory program called "Final Solution" about Godhra. Maybe you are as gullible as Eddie is.
[Goanet]Re: BBC propaganda
WRT to posts from Eddie Fernandes and Mario Gouveia, the snippets (attached at the foot of this message) caught my attention: The Key Words (for me) in Eddie Fernandes' post : My brief comments in (brackets) 1. singularly inimitable drivel ( touché ) 2. bovine flatulence ( energy savings ahead ) 3. shooting off ( but of course ) 4. Do read ( touché 2 ) 5. Where have you been? ( yeah..where exactly have you been? ) 6. not suggesting - no racism in the BBC or in the UK ( not in Hick Country neither) The Key Words (for me) in Mario Goveia's post : My brief comments in (brackets) 1. BBC with its recent history of twisting the truth ( ha! ha! ha! Mummy Look WHO is talking ) 2. "Wogs" or "Pakis" or whatever they are calling you these days ( Where have you been? ) 3. Indian expats like you ( and like you ?) jc Snippets From: "Eddie Fernandes" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mario, I had intended to let you have the last word and to ignore your singularly inimitable drivel but you are in sore need of education even if you choose to dismiss what I say as bovine flatulence :-) You would profit from reading goanet posts before shooting off. I had also provided urls for further information. To take the two programmes that are to be aired by the BBC this Sunday: I suggest you check on Tully's standing in India . Do read some of his writings. Your claim of a conspiracy by the BBC beggars belief. Final Solution is an independent production... banned by the BJP. Where have you been? I am not suggesting that there is no racism in the BBC or in the UK - Original Message - From: "Mario Goveia" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Eddie, actually it is the education that you should be thankful for. Blindly believing the BBC with its recent history of twisting the truth contributes to the ignorance and prejudices of Brits, and may make them feel superior to you "Wogs" or "Pakis" or whatever they are calling you these days, but it is Indian expats like you who need to set the record straight. _ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
