Indicting, nay convicting, entire families in the court of public opinion? You can't do that without becoming part of whatever problem you are accusing them of. Are these entire families running around physically assaulting people? Or are they simply excercising their freedom of speech? Without knowing any of them I am willing to bet they are entirely trustworthy, regardless of how objectionable their opinions may be.
