[google-appengine] virtualenv and gae

2010-02-10 Thread Dalius
Hello,

I know this theme was already discussed in this group but I will raise
it again. Reason why I would love to use virtualenv with GAE is nose
and nose-gae. Currently I must install nose-gae into global site-
packages because GAE does not work with virtualenv. Here is related
nose-gae issue:

http://code.google.com/p/nose-gae/issues/detail?id=11colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Stars%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary

I would appreciate any information that would help solving this issue.
Maybe I could implement fix for GAE that by pass GAE restrictions if
it is used with nose-gae?

Regards,
Dalius

[google-appengine] Re: Issue 777: Officially Support Naked Domains for GAE Apps

You can create filter that deletes everything. BTW I'm not using it as
forum I'm just adding additional information to issue that looks
important to me.

Lastly I'm not even sure that you are Google representative person.
Most probably you are not.

 Please discuss it here.
OK, but I don't feel that you even care.

The two issues below are unrelated.
Since GAE does not support naked domains those problems are related. I
have site that was for two years running on naked domain. Now I have
moved to google apps engine and I can't use naked domains. I
understand why and I'm completely OK with that. However there is no
easy way for me to create redirection from naked domain to www.domain.
FireFox does that for me. IE and Chromium does not. Again I'm not
worried too much about that - visitors of my site will find sooner or
later what happened.

However it would be very professional from Google side to keep the
same line in all products. If GAE does not support naked domains
Chromium should not offer to use naked domain (e.g. if you enter
mail.domain.com and there is no mail subdomain, Chromium offers
domain.com, while only www.domain.com works).

[google-appengine] Cron Hasn't run yet

2009-07-20 Thread Dalius

Hello,

I see Hasn't run yet status in Cron Jobs. Log indicates the same. It
was working fine up until yesterday.

I found that some people experienced this problem but I have not found
solution. Could anybody help me? I have tried updating cron with
different numbers but that doesn't help.

My App Id: tavospauda
