Not sure if it's the same problem but about 10% of request yesterday resulted
in 500 error "google.appengine.runtime.DeadlineExceededError". I've seen this
over the last week or so.
All error is when the application is trying to reach the datastore, for exmaple
"dbPages.Pages.gql('ORDER BY sortIndex').fetch(1000)" or
"dbPages.Pages.get_by_key_name('footermenu')".
These are the first and second datastore call in the application.

Yes Ikai, everything is not ok. Every ten minutes, everything goes red. We are having serious issues with this. We need to know if something is being planned to resolve this because we need to talk to our customers too. We need assurances that this will be sorted and when. Everything looks okay from the dashboards I'm looking at, though it looks like there was an anomaly around ~5 hours ago that lasted about 10 minutes. Oopsstill happening sometimes...when it happen, all requests in the same minute timeout on db put. They are in different entity group. It's certainly a lot better than it was yesterday; however, it is still noticeably worse than before the maintenance took place. Latency is up, PUTs to the datastore take longer and the average CPU time for my main resource is about 200ms more. Also the error rate is a few % higher. I love app engine and what they're trying to do, but am now getting doubts about using it for our next project. We have roughly 2000 paid users and growing, and this really isn't sustainable if it keeps having issues every other week. We are just back from the dead. Our app was 100% down (dashboard too) for the last 15 minutes: It was showing the infamous: Error: Server Error The server encountered an error and could not complete your request. If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it. And it was doing so even for the static content! Glad to be back, but these past few days have been super painful... Dashboard and the service I am running are both failing. 500 errors on dashboard and timeouts on service requests.Seems to be intermittent, since I sometimes get pages or returned requests, and sometimes don't. I'm running a python app that is still in development and I am the only one using the service. -Ronald.
