[google-appengine] appengine admin
I successfully posted an application and it is running on appspot.com Now when I try to submit another: I open appengine.google.com I am redirected to start page and my only options are to read some info or 'Create Application' On selecting Create Application I get prompted for mobile number and fail with message that the number was already used. So can anyone tell me if you have 1 application running must you stop or delete before you can run another? I don't seem to have Adminconsole to administer the application so I have no idea how to delete or stop it. Any ideas? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google App Engine group. [google-appengine] appengine admin user-interface doesn't let me add a non appspot domain to my app
Hi, I just created a supersimple app with appengine [1], now I want to host this on a non-appengine domain in 'emileaben.com', but the appengine UI won't let me add specific hostnames somehow. See screenshot at http://albatross.ripe.net/demo-area/screenshot-appengine-problem.png for where I'm at right now. Strange thing is this didn't work for me a couple of times, then suddenly it worked exactly *once* for google-appengine- ipv6.emileaben.com (I got a page asking me all about adding CNAME etc.), and after that it stopped working again. It did work eventually after trying 5+ times (after a tip from somebody), so I think this is a bug in the appengine admin interface. I didn't find a 'file a bug' anywhere, so hoping appengine developers are on this list/forum. Emile [1] app is 'ipv6eyechart' , only has handler for / , and an image in http://ipv6eyechart.appspot.com/img/ripencc_logo.png -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Google App Engine group. [google-appengine] Appengine Admin
Hello, Today is birthday of Appengine Admin project - automatic admin interface for your Google App Engine (GAE) application. Appengine Admin is CRUD (Create, Retrieve, Update, Delete) interface for easy and convenient editing of site data. The project was made in huge inspiration from Django (http:// www.djangoproject.com) automatic admin site. Once I started using it I realized that I don't want to work without it also when working with GAE. Appengine Admin does not try to copy Django admin panel, also the visual design is different to avoid confusing the users who would expect the same functionality from Appengine Admin as from Django admin panel if the design was the same. Currently implemented set of features is held at the minimum that makes releasing the project sane. The rest of desired features will follow during next iterations.
