2011-09-09 Thread gwt.user
Hi Alfredo,
I m looking forward to having some insight about how you get that to work.
DevMode is one part of GWT that is not really well documented. Sadly.

Keep up the good work.

@Thomas
Could you get DevMode to work for AIR. We d love to have that feature at my

@Michael
Since you have been searching about my posts then you must also have
seen that i said we do a lot of flex/air development at my company.
And we were looking for a way to do that with GWT. If you know
another project that enables that please feel free to let me know.I ll
be "preaching" that one also.

Besides that take a closer look at those links of yours and you will
see my real name in there

Last but not least this here is about Gwt4Titanium Mobile. What about
focusing on that ? If you guyz have nothing to say about it, that s
your right. Like the Emitrom guyz said just ignore the post.

Re: GWT frameworks?

Like Joe said it depends.
If you are looking for plug-ins free widgets GXT is the best imho.
But i will put gwt4air in that list.
At my company we are developing mostly Flex applications. gwt4air saved us
for having to deal with ActionScript :)

You wont know until you try do yo ?
Technically your project is really awesome man but more then the technical
battle it s the commnucation battle that you will have to win.
If i could come up with only half of the ideas poeple like you have i ll be
blogging tweeting spaming or wathever about it :)

There are some googlers here in the forum. i would bombard then with emails
until i get their attention. loool
Specially when a project deserves some attention. GWT is an awesome
framework and with the work of people like yourself it s just becoming
monumental.
The capabilities are becoming limitless.
If someboy told me sometimes ago i could write a Flex application in Java i
would think he is out of his mind.

"First let s make the project become the best GWT UI library out there"

It starts with you man.
Go out there and nerv some people about your work. It s worth it.

Just my 2cents.

Best,

Is the explorer located at http://www.gwt4air.appspot.com/ also
written in Java? is the source available ? I really like the UI.
