I had the same problem. Install the newst JDK from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and it will be solved. Debugging in Eclipse doesn't work
Hi, I'm new to GWT and following the StockWatcher tutorial from GWT website. I'm on the debugging section, so as the tutorial told me to do, I launched the application in debug mode in Eclipse. However, the perspective didn't change to Debug mode. Also, it didn't stop at the breakpoints that I set. Did anyone have the same problem? If you did, how did you solve it? Not sure why it doesn't switch to debug mode, but I learned recently that if you are using JDK 6 that you need to get the very latest 6.0.16 because the earlier ones had bugs in the breakpoint logic (I was on 6.0.14 and it wouldn't work, so I don't know how much earlier you could go and have it work too).
