The things I have to take offline (@errands), I print. Then of course I have to mark it as done/delete it later, but it works for me. Re: import plugins/"backstage" function - deprecated in gtd_tiddlywik_plus?
Type <> into a tiddler and click done. This will tell you what version the core TW engine is. The latest version of TW is 2.5.0 The Backstage area (located in the upper right corner, and often invisible till you hover over it) wasn't added until ... 2.0 or so. If you are running something newer then that, it is not there. You can still install plugins by opening the plugin, copy all of the tiddler contents, and then pasting it into atiddler in your TW. Roy, find the tiddler 'MonkeyGTDTheme', click the edit button, scroll down to find '!Printing3x5Styles'. A bit below that you will see '/* LAYOUT ELEMENTS' And a little below that will be body { background: #fff; color: #000; font-size: 6.2pt; font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Bitstream Vera Sans", Helvetica, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; } You want to modify the 'font-size: 6.2pt;' line. Re: mGTD quick add
It shows up as a single upright line, but on the keyboard it looks like two short upright lines above each other. Kind of like a colon someone squeezed through a ringer. Re: Actions not in projects not as visible as Actions in projects
I have people as listed as projects for just this reason. Most of them have multiple actions on them as I make actions of stuff like "Teach Cayce to drive", "Take Alesia to dinner" and "Loan Sword of Truth series to Anne". When I know Anne is coming over, I can look to see if there are any actions I need to do on her. And if they don't have an action then maybe I need to remember to add some. Part of the balancing of work and play. Re: confused by ticker and make action options
Which version of the various TiddlyWiki GTD systems are you using? The most common ones are D3 & MonkeyGTD, but there are a couple of others out there as well. Re: TW for Notes?
For me the answer is 'All of them'. I have to admit a fondness for TagglyTagging types as it makes a lot of sense to me, and the way I organize stuff. Also I think TW T-Notes is looking very useful. * http://mptw.tiddlyspot.com/#TagglyTaggingPlugin * http://twt-notes.tiddlyspot.com/ Ken Girard On Dec 24, 7:27 pm, "Scott Kingery" wrote: > Sorry to go off topic here, but has anyone found a TiddlyWiki that is useful > for note taking? Re: Can MonkeyGTD import D3 data?
Which version of TW is each of them built on? You can find out by putting <> in a tiddler. The newer versions of TW have the built in ability to import tiddlers from other TWs. You can find this in the backstage area located in the upper right corner. The older versions don't play well with the newer ones, but i think there is an ImportPlugin over at http://TiddlyTools.com that gets around this. I know you will be shocked, but the 'administation' section acts odd in IE6. And I really like the 'index card' description of a tiddler.
