New to List Re: abs light blinking
Hello Everybody, Just wanted to drop a note and say Hi to you fellow gts owners! I just purchased a used new 93 gts 1000 with 1300 miles on it. Bought the bike from a friend in California and shipped it on the slow boat from California to my home in Maui. Looking forward to touring around the island on my new mojocycle. My ABS light blinks once in a while my friend had the Yamaha shop check out the ABS braking system and it is fine. He was told that a sensor malfunctions once in a while but in my case it doesn't hinder the ABS. Mike

You've provided good input and have had a keen sense of humor. It brings tears to my eyes as I realize, way to late, that you had offered to do the faq for the GTS'sers after I brought the idea up and I had volunteered to do it myself. Yes...now that I realize how much tedious work and time I will have to spend doing it myself now, the tears just flow... >;^) Hehehe...couldn't miss a chance to 'roast' ya one last time! Take care, Kurt, visit once in a while! Brandon
Motorcycle Tour And Cruiser magazine
Does anyone subscribe to 'Motorcycle Tour and Cruiser' magazine? I'm looking for an article which would have been published after August, 1999 regarding the reunion of the Virago Owner's Club in Galena, Illinois. If anyone can tell me whether such an article ever existed, please email me off-list. Many thanks, -K == Kelly CashMain: 408-727-5497 Solid Data Systems FAX: 408-727-5496 2945 Oakmead Village Court [EMAIL PROTECTED] Santa Clara, CA 95051 www.soliddata.com ==

Kurt, I am really very sorry to see an articulate member like you depart the list but alas, you will always be our very own monkeyon2wheels. I here by declare your moniker officially retired and placed on the center wall of the virtual GTS museum.
