[Hardhats-members] Orthopedic Users of VistA

2005-04-28 Thread Don Donigan
Dear friends,
I am a consultant in New Mexico, USA. I have a client that is a group of
Orthopedic surgeons who are looking hard at EMR. I am trying to get them to
look at VistA as a potential solution to their needs. They would like to
speak to other orthopods who are using the system currently in a non-VA
setting. Are any of you on this list?

Best regards,

Donald R. Donigan

Unfortunately, you are not likely to find many users on this list. Unless the
docs are nerds or aspiring nerds like several of us, the discussion is too
technical to interest them, but maybe someone could give you a lead for where
to find an orthopedist.

You and Dr. Bones need to exchange a few emails! I am sure as soon as he
sees your post, he will contact you.

2005-04-28 Thread Doctor Bones
I haven't actually used it yet... I am still trying to get everything
converted and going.
But, I am interested in orthopedics, and there are several aspects of
vista that seem specifically tailored toward orthopods (sounds like a
bug :).
