I do not need to clone these drives in a RAID as I have both hard and off site digital backups of them and they do not change that quickly. I don't want to consume my entire 12TB of storage for video. So what would be the best way to handle this.. put the video and video ISO collection on a USB3 external drive and plug that into the NAS which would make it available to my single user LAN? That would leave me with a great deal of storage space for computer backups, security camera, Data that needs to be secure= about 15 GB, media center recordings, stuff like that? Or is there another way to do this without having to clone all the video files all the time? I am confused. Thanks.

Sent: Jun 16, 2009 9:42 PM Hey guys, thoughts on this computer speaker set? I.e. are they good, what (if anything) is better-seems weird to ask, but I don't know that computer speaker tech has advanced that much in the 5 or so years I've had them. Some of you may even have this set; it was rated the best for a while (well back in 2004 or so when I got my last PC), though there's apparently a dark side to them, (what with all the subwoofer problems) which I ran into recently too (well a few years back now I guess). So I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to get a replacement sub since there's apparently a good chance it too will have problems (and it's not that cheap and it's not like they're taking care of owners that had problems) or if I should get something else. It's just annoying b/c everything plugs into the sub and is kind of useless (the 5 other speakers and head unit) unless someone knows of a company that makes a replacement sub that's compatible with the Klipsch ones.I didn't find anything when I google for that tho. The cheapest i5 is slated to be the 2.66GHz variant that should debut at $196 for 1000-order batches. It's still a very fast chip, and overall seems to compare favorably to the more-expensive 3.2GHz AMD Phenom II. Several reviewers have commented that if you were in the category that bought a Q6600 or Q9300 or the like, i5 is probably the Nehalem for you. If you bought higher-end SKUs, i7 is probably for you.
