Will it let me do that like a FTP program or does it have to be

Well, Mozy doesn't always complete when I manually tell it to backup
my bookmarks, so I can't recommend it for large files.

That is exactly what I don't want to do. I don't want to share,
automate, or schedule anything. I just want to upload three 2-3GB
zip files manually, preferably by FTP, once or twice a month and I
don't mind paying for it. Godaddy won't let me store files anymore
on my Deluxe hosting account, and every storage site I find wants to
automate, backup, or share the files some level of proprietary
software, and/or always on in the background.

Buy space with a host (such as CrystalTech) and upload away. I do it
all the time.

OK, so go grab a copy of Filezilla and a webhosting account and upload
it manually.

I have been testing the free Mozy, and the backup agents often fails
to backup for days at a time.

I know a lot of people who get Dreamhost accounts and use them for
online backup. $9.99/mo for 14gb plus you get your own domain, webspace,
email, etc.

Anybody try XDrive? It is a online FTP drive, this has been done before,
but never 5GB free and 50 GB for 100 a year. Plus it is offered by AOL,
which means it won't go away any time soon. I have been uploading by
Data backups to my Godaddy hosted site, about 3 zip files of 6 GB ,
every month. But last week they told me I had a File Repository and made
me remove them... which sucks since I have been doing this for 7 years
without any problems. Now I am looking for a online FTP account...
anybody know anything about these?
