The only roundup on Anandtech mentioned the DFI Lanparty as tops with the MSI Neo4 close behind. I hesitate to use DFI since we had some of their computers at PMSNA when I was there. POS every one of them. But as we' ve noticed, things change. built a DFI Lanparty for a friend, turned out very nice but was not able to run dual channel mode until the latest bios flash. There's this engineer that was mainly responsible for Abit's greatest past OC'ing boards that left and is now a big shot @ DFI. Forget his name but he's somewhat famous in online community. My next mobo will be DFI. @:) Steve Tomporowski wrote: The only roundup on Anandtech mentioned the DFI Lanparty as tops with the MSI Neo4 close behind. Asus A8N-SLI Deluxeseems to be the preferred model. PC Gamer used it recently in it's recentpicture-book "how to build a PC" article. Many folks seem to recommend it on Anand's forum as well. I plan to buy it when I do my upgrade soon. - Original Message - From: Steve Tomporowski To: The Hardware List Sent: Friday, December 02, 2005 5:56 AM Subject: [H] Again - Best Motherboard - Looking for Recs It's time for an upgrade and I'm looking into AMD motherboards. I got the Epox 9NPA Ultra non SLI highly recommended by Anand and from Chris here on the list, have not had the chance to convert my system yet.
