Actually, they have 4/8/16GB models out now. I got a 4GB SanDisk Cruzer on
BF for $14.

Wow! We are up to 2GB models now...
I still own an old Crucital 256MB Gizmo.
Visited Crucial. Hmm.. :(
I am going to follow all of these links to find new hdw.
Thanks all. Like the Corsair models so far.
Not crazy about the slide-contact business of the SanDisk.
Best,
Duncan

Actually they have flash drives that are 8gb-16gb in capacity and still have
the small form factor you'd expect a thumb drive to be. I think Kanguru has a
32gb model but physically it is a bit larger than a normal thumb drive.

Tharin O.,
I am now GB'd into oblivion. Everything seems to be GB related.
I can deal with this. Just wondering with which data block I want
to use for now. Odd this current world is.
I am still having trouble with the interfaces that seem to be going
away. But, that is just perhaps me.
Best,
Duncan

I'm happy with the San Disk Cruzer Titanium. Looks good, very sturdy,
and has a retractable USB connector so it won't get damage. Not the
cheapest one tho.

The Corsair Voyager flash drives are very quick and have a rubber sleeve that
makes them fairly ruggedized. I was quite sad when I lost my 1gb flash drive. I
don't know how they compare in price now but the Corsair units were on the high
side of the scale.
