[ha-Safran] Judea Pearl

2012-08-30 Thread Andrea Rapp
I hope this won't be considered off-topic; it *is* an appeal for reference
help.Recently I read that Judea Pearl, father of Daniel Pearl, has given up his
years'-long effort at Muslim-Jewish dialog, and/or his programs with Akbar
Ahmed.  I can't find reference to this anywhere now, and I wonder whether
anyone can lead me to it.Andrea RappCincinnati, Ohio__

Hi,

If you don't want to use old magazines in your hamster cage, you can
turn them into a bowl, see
http://alittlehut.blogspot.co.il/2007/09/recycle-project-no-7-magazine-b
owl.html
or turn them into paper flowers
http://thefashionableandthebroke.com/tag/recycled-and-ravishing-turn-old

For a wealth of other ideas, take a look at

Hi,

I just took over managing the Temple Library where I found a collection

Is there any reason why I need to store all of these magazines? We
really do not have room for all of them? Any suggestions?

Thank you,

[ha-Safran] Collecting DVD's

2012-08-30 Thread Lieberman Bernice
Our library is going to begin collecting DVD's to circulate. I have
seen some companies post notes on this list-serve, (e.g. Ruth Diskin
films) but wonder if there are sources that handle films from
multiple producers. Also, are there complex rules for dvd use when
circulating them that determine purchase prices? Thank you. You
may respond on or off-line.
