Support response time

2009-06-04 Thread Thomas Balthazar

Hello,

I submitted a support request 4 days ago, and I still have no answer.
What is the expected support response time?

My app isn't working correctly because of the bug I reported (issue
#212) and I still have no clue if there is a solution.
I would understand that the support has a lot of work, but I'd really
like to know what kind of support service I can expect.
My app is not ready for production yet, but support response time is
definitely a decisive argument (particularly on a fully managed
hosting) to decide if it will go live on Heroku or not.

What is your experience with the support?

Best regards,
Thomas.

Re: to www or to not www

It would be nice to have an automatic redirect that didn't require
application code, but you can also do something like the
before_filter :ensure_domain bit of documentation here:

I've had reasonably good experience with the support at Heroku, but I
wouldn't give it an A+. To wait 4 days for any kind of a response for
a support ticket seems unacceptable to me. Maybe you should add
something to the ticket to bump it up to the top of their list again?

504 Gateway Timeout / nginx 0.6.32

2009-06-04 Thread ref3at

I've been getting this error: 504 Gateway Timeout / nging 0.6.32 when
trying to my view application at constitution.herokugarden.com, I
thought this was a common error that other people were getting but
then I created a new test application (refattest.herokuagrden.com) and
when I viewed it, it worked fine so this problem is obviously specific
to my first application (constitution.herokugarden.com).

Anyone know what causes this error?

I had an overnight response just now.

I agree with Trevor - try a bump.
