For the following gem: right_http_connection SpinnerInstall RightScale's robust HTTP/S connection module I keep getting the following error: Could not install gem right_http_connection. Re: App starting loop and snapshots failing
I too am having the same issue as Patrick above. The console says: Your mongrel is not responding, check to see if there is a crash log. I do not see a crash log in the logs folder but I do have a file called mongrel.47006.log which states /mnt/home/userapps/31477/app/views/public/index.html.erb:11: warning: else without rescue is useless Thin web server (v0.8.2 codename Double Margarita) Threaded mode OFF Maximum connections set to 1024 Listening on 0.0.0.0:47006, CTRL+C to stop Stopping ... Other than the warning I am not sure what is going on. How do we do a restart of the mongrel instance? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Heroku group. Re: App starting loop and snapshots failing
I found this post (http://groups.google.com/group/heroku/browse_thread/ thread/d8545430404d8ae0#) and a solution from Mark. I tried switching from dev to prod and back, and it cleared up. - Mark This worked for me as well! --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Heroku group. Re: Install Failed - right_http_connection
In relation to the App starting loop and snapshots failing thread (http://groups.google.com/group/heroku/browse_thread/thread/ 69aad427182d9830#) I found the solution to that issue also solved this issue.
