[hlds] Source TV and HL2MP
I run The Tomb and The Crypt ctf hl2mp servers. We've developed quite a fan base recently, and have since implimented Source TV on both of them. The reason for the implimentation was to allow other clan members to watch scrimages unfold. However, we've noticed that sourcetv isn't really working right for hl2mp. First off, there is no spectator mode in mp, so SourceTV spawns as a Flashing Error logo with a grav gun. It's hilarious, and doesn't bother anyone. However, it only directs the camera to places where people are getting killed. It doesn't follow players any other time (like flag capping or setting up defenses). Most of the time, if no one is getting killed, it sits in the spawn room and stares at the wall. No way to control it means we can't move it around. I was wondering if there were any plans to address this issue in the future?
