Re: [hlds] Mvm Bug
I apologize; one of my users corrected me. Apparently, running the server in 24-man mode limits the server to 4 players during a wave, as bots use those slots while things are in motion. Players can still join and play when there's no wave active, but during a wave things are locked down. If there are 6 joined and ready before a wave starts, it'll let all 6 play. A few quick questions, if I may. 1) Will it be possible to force a server to run in only MvM mode, like how Arena mode currently works? If so, how is this done? 2) If a server has the capability, will spectators be able to join and watch MvM matches without SourceTV? At any rate, we don't officially support that, so if you do it, you're on your own.) So, you should expect to segregate your servers into MvM and PvP. Don't just put the MvM maps into the mapcycle file, that won't work. (Actually, the mapcycle file is slightly different for MvM because you really are cycling through missions, not the maps.
