Try running server with this commands and parametrs: D:\cs16\hlds.exe -console -game cstrike +ip x.xx.xx.x +port 27018 -sport 27023 +map de_dust2 +exec server.cfg +maxplayers 16 I running CS 1.6 server with this parametrs. I download the server, installing AMX and Meta Mods and running server with console. D:\cs16\hlds.exe -console -game cstrike -port 27014 +map de_dust2 +maxplayer 16 I running console and server don't connect with Steam servers. I trying another port, but VAC don't working. :( In this computer also running Counter-Strike Source and The Ship servers. this servers working normally and VAC working in this servers. I try stop this servers and run CS 1.6, but the server don't work. Why CS 1.6 server don't working with VAC? I think, that Valve may sending more guest passes to administrators dedicated servers. Dedicated servers running, as a rule, in LANs and also has Internet connection, that players could be connected to the server from the Internet. I do not speak about other countries, but in Russia the majority of game servers is supported by providers companies and this servers is only additional service for customers. Administrators of dedicated game servers may sending guest passes to users of the LAN, that will raise interest to any game. What do you think in this occasion? [hlds] Half-Life Dedicated Server. Problems.

I download all files and trying launch server with console. I create txt file d:\hlds\hlds.exe -console -game valve -port 27017 +map crossfire +maxplayers 14 -autoupdate -retry rename this file to hl.bat and trying launch server Console is opened, adding master servers, but server don't connect with Steam servers. In this computer also running Counter-Strike Source and HL 2 Deathmatch servers, it using ports 27015 and 27016. This servers connecting to Steam servers without any problems. Why HL 1 server don't connect? Port 27017 don't blocked.
