Re: [hlds] Left 4 Dead Update Available

Release them on Wednesday morning, that way it can be taken care of before
it's even any wear near the day or week peaks.

What would you recommend for server and client rates in Left 4 Dead?

I know in CSS you can customize and set every different type of rate, can
you do this in L4D?

I saw that valve announced that the largest tf2 update ever will be released
tomorrow.

If valve wouldn't mind could you please provide us with a time frame in
which the update will be released. Will it be at midnight tonight, or 3pm
in the afternoon tomorrow?

Much appreciated

Would you mind being a little more detailed as i would also like to use this

Such as which gcf files do you open and which folders inside which gcf's get
moved to where on the DS

Re: [hlds] Source server enhancement - server name in title bar

I second this.
Like most people we run multiple machines on a single box and it would
certainly help if we could easily see the name of the server instead of
typing status.

[hlds] Please Inform us of Updates

2007-09-21 Thread Kyle Cassidy
--
[ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ]
There was another server update yesterday (not the official sept 21st one, i
allready installed that one) that was not posted anywhere.

The clients would be updated to the latest version and when they tried to
connect to the server it would say that their map name is invalid because
the server was not updated.

All i ask is that you inform us of updates.

Thanks

Something else to add on to Robert's list.

Re: [hlds] TF2 Server.cfg ?

I'm in the same spot. I can launch my TF2 DS, but that's it.

Console initialized.
Game.dll loaded for "Team Fortress"
Particles: Missing 'particles/error.pcf'
maxplayers set to 24
Network: IP 10.10.10.31, mode MP, dedicated Yes, ports 27016 SV / 27006 CL

Just updated it a few seconds ago.
