Would that be courteous in that, without the Server Admins updating their servers there will be no game? I like Valve posting here but everyone seems to think that is a bonus - We are the Admins that run the servers that make their game popular. It would be one big advertising disaster if we decided that no servers will be updated until a date that suits our diary, like the weekend as most of us have day jobs. I am looking forward to DoD:Source, I understand Valve not answering the numerous questions from kids about trivia but to not supply clear release information so that you guys that support paying clans & customers is just poor - & you appear to be apologising to Valve for it. & as for the debate about pulling the CS:Source update last week at the last minute & many say well done Valve? Is that well done for not testing sufficiently & appropriately against the multitude of information that is readily supplied to them. & then giving the Server Admins 48 hours notice only when it is truly ready to release. I expect we will hear something tomorrrow at 2PM Pacific Time. Supposedly we have the files needed with the last update. Not sure how this will work. Perhaps we are expected to drop CS:S servers and set a flag to start them in DOD:S mode.
