Or they could rename the instalation file to motd_default.txt, and
continue using motd.txt.

You do that, and hldsupdatetool craps out when it can't overwrite the
file. Making a backup works, sure, but it's not an essential file to
begin with, so there's not much reason in overwriting the thing.

Not an option for a business.  Best way to go is to have a script to do
the steam updates that will backup and restore the motd.txt, etc.

First off, where's our stats command? No workie for SrcHLDS for me,
but sv_stats is still there and enabled. Going elsewhere to another
command?
