Yes, we've added a 'prev_version' that servers/clients can choose to install.

Is there any intention on releasing a previous version branch so i55 isn't
interrupted as much like is occasionally done for CS:GO?

Re: [hlds] [hlds_linux] Mandatory TF2 update coming

2013-12-15 Thread Kyle Sanderson
Indeed, we received a lot of regressions in the last sync. I'm not
sure if the well abused engine exploit was fixed in this (or even at
all in TF), but I wouldn't want it if the previous issues aren't
solved. Honestly, I'm kind of hoping it doesn't happen as the next one
would be February or later.

Kyle.

Also, we plan to release updates for CS:S, DoD:S, and HL2:DM next week to

Will this also apply to the nearly-full soundprecache table? At the moment, it
only has 320 free entries, which means some plugins will overflow it.

*Player counts in the server browser useless / meaningless in MvM

*Matchmaking connecting players to out-of-date servers

*General improvements to matchmaking throughput and match quality.

This will be a mandatory update.

 Apologies for the late release.
