Re: SV: [hlds] FPS Stuck at 64
Why again are we so concerned about the FPS rating on the console? Mine is stuck at 64 as well. All shots are registered just fine on the server. Players have amazingly low pings. Choke? Haven't seen any of it myself. Server is a 32 player server. Even at full load and untweaked, it was handling everyone flawlessly. Barton 2x00 (I forget the rating on the chip, it's been overclocked to 2200/400 since I first got it). 1Gb ram. Windows XP Pro SP2. So tell me again why I should be concerned about the 64 FPS cap? (honestly, I'd really like to know how this pertains to actual performance as far as the server, because at 64, I'm not seeing any problems. Should I be?) Do you just want it to look at, or are you collecting the information? Every HLDS/SRCDS console I've seen has the current map, players and server fps along the top of the console window. You have to turn the scroll buffer off (right click on the console window - Properties - Screen Buffer Size - change the 300 to 25). Tell it to use those settings for windows of the same name, and you'll always have that little header now. -- ironchef http://www.dexworld.org/ ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds
