We have seen crashes like those every couple of days ever since the last
update or so. Alfred Reynolds responded "We are looking into this
problem." a week ago. So we are all eagerly waiting for a fix.

I've gotten a very wierd crash on my TF2 server now, I didn't get to
save the error message (I did but then I deleted it because I'm
retarded), but the gist of it was

Assertion Failure: ValidationServerIP1 != ValidationServerIP2

I'm not using any wierd routing or hax that would mess with validation
or server IPs, does anyone know what causes this?

try to clean up user's steamapps folder (clientregistry.blob/ custom maps
sounds skins etc) sometimes that works out for user's crashes...

[hlds_linux] Timeouts on TF2 server

Hello,

we have setup a TF2 server on Linux Debian Etch. Sometimes alot of players
time out at the same time. We also run some other srcds servers on the same
machine (not orange box engine), there are no such problems. Anyone know
what causes this?
