VAC will empty your servers my friends. It's actually better to use these wasted CPU cycles to.. host Ventrilo for example. CS was a great project back when it was free, now community is split between CS 1.5 [yes still played] 1.6, CZ, CS:S. Don't you just love what Valve does with CS? Any sane person would have used PunkBuster by now, but not Valve. I'm sure we will see PB on Q4 pretty soon, almost from day 1. Not like here where in CS:S cheaters are rampant for months. But oh! VAC2? Nothing but empty promises. A year from now CD 5.x will do the trick. ___ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux

Discussing which anticheat is the best isn't helping our friend here ;) (which cheats does HLG really detect?) If I remember correctly you can use +secure (or -secure) in the command line... hlds_linux@list.valvesoftware.com schrieb am 10.05.05 16:39:32: > > VAC for 1.6 is not useful for stopping hackers as it has not been > updated in months.
