I've had good experiences at Appalachian State in North Carolina and
University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Both Dr. Karen Robertson and Dr. Paul
Stevens are great teachers and great people. I know Karen's on sabbatical

I'm not sure that's correct because Alan Civil wouldn't have made a big deal
about that note. I'm an amateur and can play a d above high c. Not
consistently but in warm up. He wouldn't have said it wasn't on the horn
before playing it wonderfully.
