[Hornlist] Reinhardt Concerto
Hello, Does anyone on the list know where I can acquire the Reinhardt concerto for horn in Eb major? I have emailed the [EMAIL PROTECTED] but he has yet to respond, Mr. Thompson, would you happen to have a copy of it? I would be interested as to what you fellow hornlisters have to say about it. Thank you, Paul R. ___ post: [EMAIL PROTECTED] unsubscribe or set options at http://music.memphis.edu/mailman/options/horn/archive%40jab.org

We do indeed have the Reinhardt work available at $19.95 for the horn with piano version, $19.25 for the full score and $27.25 for the set of parts, and of course we would be happy to supply you with those materials. Re: [Hornlist] Reinhardt Concerto
Travis, I have the score of this concerto. It is typed in as Finale file, but I have to check it first. Even I work fast, all depends upon the time left, as I have a very tough schedule at the moment. But we can make an arrangement. Just write me privately. I will do my best to get the Concerto checked today or tomorrow. Greetings from Munich PS: Have checked the score meanwhile. It needs some dynamics prepared plus the harpsichord part arranged which I will do the next few days. But the concerto will just come as score plus strings, solohorn harpsichord. Do not expect a piano reduction. benne006 [EMAIL PROTECTED] schrieb: Dear Hornlisters, I'm trying to get the music for a concerto by Reinhardt that is on the CD Baroque Horn Concertos with Tuckwell and St. Martin-in-the-fields. (Great CD, btw). I have not been able to find out if an edition exists, much less how to get it. I'd like to program this piece on my upcoming DMA recital, so any information on how to get it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Try www.birdalone.com They published several of these works. Unfortunately, I didn't see this concerto on their site. RE: [Hornlist] Reinhardt Concerto / Woodwind Quintet music
Jerry in Kansas City wrote: Hi Travis, Contact www.thompsonedition.com Thank you for the referral, Jerry. Of course, we would be happy to supply Travis with a copy of the work. However, since we couldn't possibly find the time to list on our web site the thousands of titles we can supply (for that matter, we can't even seem to find the time to update the aesthetics of our web site so that it doesn't look so painfully '90's!), it is generally best for anyone seeking any title which is not our own publication to simply contact us by email at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] I will also second Jerry's recommendation of the Andraud 22 Woodwind Quintets collection. That was a quintet staple years ago when I was in school, and we still mail out several copies every year. It is certainly a good point of departure for a new group. Lawrence Yates wrote: a delightful little Suite for Wind by Washburn I was also very pleasantly surprised to see this work mentioned (and no it is not one of our publications, although we do publish other works for horn by Washburn). The Suite is technically fairly simple and requires very little time to put together, and yet is always popular with audiences. It probably deserves to be more widely known. David B.
