RE: [Hornlist] Salzburg
To make it "worth you while," spend your money and time enjoying the area. You can take a lesson from a new teacher and get your horn worked on in the US. Take in Salzburg, spend some time in the Berchtesgaden area, Königsee, Chiemsee, drive the Alpine Road into Germany and the Grossglockner Road in Austria, visit Munich, hike an Alp, go to the brass instrument museum in Kremsmunster near Wels. Plan this kind of stuff first, then if getting a lesson, having work done, or just hanging out with a local on the list for an afternoon works out, all the better. August is vacation season, though, so it'll be crowded everywhere. To make it more worth my while, I thought I would try to take a lesson there, and maybe get some work done on my horn. Can anyone suggest a few names? I will (hopefully) be there from Aug. 3-19. I appreciate your answers!
