Re: [HOT] [HOT Training] Re: LearnOSM Glossary

2015-07-27 Thread althio
Thanks Steve for the links.
Thanks Susan and Nick for the great input.

I will keep in mind the suggestions for now:
 - annotate which terms are for OSM, HOT, and Activation in
parentheses at the end of each entry
 - search LearnOSM for other terms
 - also search Tasking Manager for other terms that should be included

2015-07-27 Thread john whelan
I didn't pick up on the fact that iD doesn't use the same terminology as
I'm used to of ways and nodes which are tagged. Apparently you need to
select area rather than draw a line round the settlement as I'm used to.

No big deal.

Thanks

Re: [HOT] HOT Task Creation

2015-07-27 Thread Rafael Avila Coya
Late, Samuel ;)

I gave project manager permission on the official TM and the dev TM for
Kazeem (OSM user: kazeem), and told him the procedure to create a
project in the TM.

I hope this jobs of Kazeem will gather more volunteers from different
universities across Nigeria, as this is key to have a bigger and more
active local OSM community that truly decides by itself the way the
Nigerian map should be according to their needs (generally speaking).

Cheers,

Rafael.
