Are you trying to compile the latest version? from your folder name, I
have the impression that this is 0.7.0. Could you try with a recent
SVN version? they are quite stable.

Are you following the instructions on the wiki?

It's fixed on windows: PTBatcherGUI uses the language which is
selected in hugin.
On linux it's unchanged. The language can be selected with the
environment variable.

No. You can also use environment variables on windows. In cmd.exe (DOS-
Shell, Eingabeaufforderung) you can set the LANG variable to a value
with "set LANG=en" (without quotes" and then you must start the
program from this shell: e.g. "ptbatchergui.exe". The variable is only
set for this shell and session.
If you want to change the language permanently, go to Control Panel
\System\Advanced, on the bottom select "Environment
variables" (Umgebungsvariablen in deutsch, if you are using vista it's
under "Users and profiles" on the left side). Now create a new
variable with name LANG and the value for your preferred language.

Just to confirm that the patch was ok here, both vig_optimize and
autooptimiser produced identical output with and without this
latest patch.

[hugin-ptx] Re: Summer of Code Students

2009-05-04 Thread Tim

I've just run into this problem too, after an upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04.
Works fine on a clean 9.04 install on another computer; I think it may
be related to a source install of wxWidgets, but I've tried re-
installing from source and re-installing via apt but still no joy.

  c = getchar ();
  if (c = EOF) ...

will not generate a warning on older compilers. It's still wrong.

In this case you might find the problem quickly because it
doesn't work. Somehow you probably got lucky, and it does work.
 today on your compiler

I only have a vague idea what the changes were as I didn't follow
them at the time.

It would be nice to have a summary, but freepv needed a release
before works starts on integrating it into VideoLAN. León do you
have a plan for this? Will you import the existing sources into VLC
or keep it as an external library?

Thanks, can you report this in the freepv tracker? and note your

Unfortunately ChangeLog doesn't provide any info on Leon's work.

A traditional overview in NEWS would come in handy :)

[hugin-ptx] Re: FreePV 0.3.0 released

2009-05-04 Thread rew

My compiler tells me you have a bug in QTVRDecoder.cpp

   gCurrentTrackMedia = 'vide';

is not allowed. 'vide' is a single character constant, due to the
single
quotes. Then you have multiple characters... At best the character
constant will be 'v'. If gCurrentTrackMedia is a string, that
character
constant will be converted to string so you'll get "v". Maybe things
work like this, but it's way better to fix the code to say what you
want
to do.

Disclaimer: I seldomly code C++, but according to my compiler
this hasn't changed between C and C++.

Roger.
