It will load low quality preview images first and get clearer afterward. The image itself does not get clearer. But the website will allow to zoom, pan and tilt. Thanks for your encourage to give us more motivation to continue improving it. We are also thinking of supporting automatic stitching panorama pictures by our server and allowing to manually polish/edit panorama afterward on our website. Learn quite a lot about copyright and license from your guys. Will do our best to remove the images with copyright issues. Just curious about copyright and license. Seems Google Image indexed these panorama images and even cache them. Probably we will just crawl as Google and just provide an index/search engine automatically and allow people to view the panorama pictures by our viewer. As Google, we can exclude the websites that have 'No Robot' text file. Is it visible regarding to copyright/license issue? Or provide an online flash panorama viewer which can view any panorama pictures based on the user given URL. But will still allow people who hold the copyright to upload as well. [hugin-ptx] Re: Anybody use this Free Flash Panorama Hosting - You3DView.com
that's unacceptable! you've misused images without a license. this is like taking a bus ride without paying a ticket; just say sorry or made them private is not enough. You have no rights to use them unless given explicit permission by the copyright holder. You can find images that you can use by searching flickr for equirectangulars that are licensed under Creative Common licenses. And even there, you must abide by the licensing terms, i.e. if they say no commercial use or no derivative, respect it. you wouldn't like it that people steal your software, would you? or take your car for a ride? owner of the images should send a DMCA notice to your host at ab...@dreamhost.com and get you down.
