It should run with activeperl and 5.6 ought to be ok, but it needs
some extra perl modules which might not be available via activeperl
(ignore the GraphViz requirement, this isn't relevant).

Actually yes, but these tools really haven't been tested in any way at
all yet, I also need to make a trivial fix to make them work from
within Hugin.

(ptobind tries to connect the ends of unconnected groups and ptofill
assumes photos are in approximately correct positions and tries to add
control points to overlapping photos).

2009-12-18 Thread Oskar Sander
Allright, that could be it.

I'm a newbie on perl, but as it's a script language, would it work to
install ActivePerl instead and run the script engine instead of the
precompiled windows binaries? In that case, is there any constraint on perl
version, ie. do i have to run 5.8?

Btw Brunu, your new Ptbind and Ptofill seems to be attempting to do what I
was trying to achive. Interesting...

Cheers

The compiled Windows versions of these tools from the panotools
sourceforge project haven't had any testing, it is quite possible
that the ptomerge .exe is broken.

Sounds more like a Perl module error rather than you missing something
from \bin, how did you go about installing Panotools:Script? Doesn't
look like ptomerge.pl can find it.

Re: [hugin-ptx] Re: Ptomerge?

2009-12-11 Thread Oskar Sander
Excellent,

If you don't mind me asking, when i run the command:

C:\Documents and Settings\ossa\My Documents\My
Pictures\Mozzie\Mosaik_Bilder\BB-insida>ptomerge bb-03.pto bb-04.pto
testet.pto

I get the following message:

Can't locate object method "Merge" via package "Panotools::Script" at
/loader/0x9f78d8/ptomerge.pl line 17.

This makes me think I'm missing something of the Hugin base "bin" stuff, is
that right?

Cheers
Oskar

Yes, that's all you need to do.

This is also what ptomerge does, except ptomerge doesn't add images
that are already in the project, though it will still add any new
control points it finds.
