[IAEP] ASLO activities with no repository

2017-05-21 Thread Tony Anderson
There are 224 activities in ASLO which do not appear to have github
repositories [see attachment]. Developers of some of these could be
keeping a repository locally or on a personal github. If anyone has
knowledge of a repository, I would appreciate that information. After
traveling this week and next, my intent is to create repositories for
these activities on github/sugarlabs from the bundle. Doing so, of
course, does not affect any repository that may be found later since it
could replace the one from the bundle.

The 109 GCompris activities are not shown because I am not sure what
should be done. GCompris has released a new implementation which
replaces the version on which these were based. The developer was
Aleksey Lim. AFIK, they do not work with 0.110. An alternative is to use
the current GCompris release on gnome with a Sugar wrapper. This adds
about 200mb.

After reviewing git.sugarlabs.org, there are repositories which may
represent up to 150 activities not included in ASLO. WIth the 632
activities now in ASLO (including 109 GCompris), this brings the total
possible activities to nearly 800.

Re: [IAEP] IAEP Digest, Vol 110, Issue 40

2017-05-21 Thread Samson Goddy
We dont have funds for that, at least not for two. Remember we will be
traveling air to Lagos, stay in Lagos for at least one day.

Pay for visa and visa processing, the scratch team can only fund one person
for that purpose. So that why we did that proposal.

I said around 744 euros for that process and i explained the reason for it
in the proposal. Based on my calls with the Consulate in Lagos.

Re: [IAEP] [SLOBS] [SLOB] email motion re Scratch Conference (Adam Holt)

2017-05-21 Thread Samson Goddy
I am going to make contact with the consulate of France in Nigeria. I have
been in touch with them since thursday. I am also going to call them on
monday for further information.

Technically we need to sort out this problem with SLOBS and SFC about the
money in question.

Secondly takina a train in Bordeaux is tricky because my last discussion i
had with the Team in Bordeaux. They told me that i will be flying from Port
Harcourt to Bordeaux, but i am not sure yet. But the flight needed might be
the same with Ibiam's, i will also contact the scratch team.
