Re: Scrolling NETSTAT displayed using TSO COMMAND panel
I can give you two options. one is the freeware available at this link: http://www.planetmvs.com/freeware/tcpipm.html The other is to go into sdsf if you have it and issue D TCPIP commands when in the ULOG panel. Use can then scroll through your user log. Re: Need Help defining an AS400 with an IP address to the mainframe
Are you trying to configure the AS/400 with an IP host address that can talk to a z/OS IP stack? What do want to do? FTP? Re: TCPIP Profile (GATEWAY vs BEGIN/ENDROUTES)
Scott, My understatnding is you want to continue to use the BEGINROUTES/ENDROUTES statements. You will need to use them if you go to IP V6. See page 107 of the 1.7 IP configuration reference guide. I am upgrading a release of z/OS ADCD (1.5 to 1.6) and I am customizing the TCPIP profile for v1.6. The v1.5 TCPIP profile used BEGINROUTES/ENDROUTES, but the one for the v1.6 system doesn't even have those as examples - it only has the GATEWAY (with DEFAULTNET). So... I'm flexible... I figured we will go ahead and use GATEWAY. My only problem is that I have no earthly idea what the Subnet Value should be. I've pasted the GATEWAY statement from the 1.6 system below. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, I would be eternally grateful. GATEWAY ; Network First HopLink Name Packet Size Subnet Mask Subnet Value xxx.xxx.xxx.0=ETH1 1500 255.255.255.0? DB2 for z/OS encryption
Due to SOX and VISA security regulations, my company needs to encrypt credit card sales data being sored in DB2 tables. We have tried both IBM's Encryption for IMS DB2 product along with ASPG's Megacryption. Can anyone recommend another vendor's product to encrypt DB2 data - preferably at the column level rather than encrypting the whole row. -- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
