I was afraid of that. In any case, I just did a best guess and added
in a fudge factor amount. I added too much fudge though. I
overallocated by 30% or so. shrug. It's not worth while to fix it for
181,512K.

Sizing a read-only zFS container file

I have just downloaded both the 31 and 64 bit versions of Java 6 for
z/OS. I now want to create a zFS file to contain both. I will mount it
at /usr/lpp/jdk160 (to go along with my jdk142 and jdk150
subdirectories). Once created, this will be mounted READ ONLY. I want to
make this file as small as possible. Anybody got any ideas? So far, all
that I've thought of is to unwind the PAX file on my PC and do a du -k
