serial number's
Is there a way to identify the storage frame serial number of the minidisk/dasd assigned to a userid. For example userid ABC001 has minidisk 201. What is the serial number of the storage frame minidisk 201 resides? Ideally we would like to have this ability from zLinux (map linux device to storage frame serial) but would be happy if we could do so from CP. Need this capability on IBM, EMC, HDS storage. Re: NUCXDROP
I do not have NUCXDROP module on my 902 system either. When getting ready to move CMS, I compare the 2nd lvl 190 disk with the old 190 disks on the lpars. On the 2nd lvl system with z/VM 5.4 at RSU0902, there is no NUCXDROP MODULE. It's on the test and production lpars running z/VM 5.4 at the level it was installed last fall, RSU0801, I guess. Could someone else take a look if you've installed 0902 on z/VM 5.4 and see if you've got it. Did I just do a whoops with the maintenance? Perfkit question
Folks, I am using PERFKIT and I am running some reports. My reports do not furnish data for Saturday or Sunday. I noticed I do not have Hist files for Saturday or Sunday. Does anyone know how what needs to be done to have them created? I have combed through the FCONX $PROFILE file but do not see where to make the change. Thanks Thomas Gimblet
