Lorraine... I don't have an icelandic but I do really like the breed. I'm on this list for a few reasons... One: I learn alot that pertains to all horses re keeping, training and training for gait. TWO: The group is a nice one and when I was "considering" an icelandic I came and then stayed because I learned alot in general. THREE: I have some friends on here now that I like to keep track of! (smile) . I try to make my posts icey related by adding something with icey in the question so I don't get booted off! and sometimes I do get curious about something specific to the breed. He is so pretty Lorraine. I have a Foxtrotter and wouldn't buy anything else at this point unless it was a mule out of a foxtrotter. Just my fav horses in the world.

Lorraine Yeah...it's not been so much that I think the color is beautiful, but more that I've known some awfully nice guys who were palominos. It started with my friend down the road when I was a kid - she had a big, beautiful palomino (TWH, I think) named Blaze...then there was Trigger, and Mr. Ed...then Sundance, now Sina. Heck who doesn't love a palomino!?! ;) Is your guy by any chance related to that lovely MFT stallion named Moon? I think Moon is in Texas. Maybe his name is Prince Moon Beam...?
